About the Community Day...

This fun-filled day was created to provide an opportunity for the Autism community to unite to share stories & experiences as well as raise funds & awareness for this increasingly prevalent disorder. With a carnival theme in mind there will be games, food, entertainment, & a chinese raffle for all. In addition, there will be a series of mini workshops offered for parents & professionals, including...

  1. The CIL     2. Wraparound Services
3. Sibling Workshop     4. IEP - Individualized Education Program
5. Behavior Workshop     6. Verbal Behavior & Home Programming

Last year we partnered with All Kids Training Resources to hold an Autism Walk. We raised just over $6,000 which was donated to the National Autism Association and AutismLink. AutismLink then donated a portion back to our community which was given to the local respite care program. This year all proceeds will remain in our community to benefit our local Autism services.
